You can do this simply by typing 'CMD' in to you windows search bar and selecting the Command Prompt App. Check your computer for 802.11 capabilities.If it is, keep reading, if it isn't, you're out of luck in this particular situation. after many hours of educating myself and becoming somewhat of a Wifi / Bluetooth / Bootcamp knowledge hunter I found the following USEFUL information out. Only allowing a 2.4GHz connection, which is not what I needed as I now know this interferes with bluetooth devices in some cases. It then became clear that Bootcamp Windows 10 could connect to my Virgin 5GHz wifi, but had no internet connection. So I knew from there I needed my Bootcamp Windows 10 Home Edition to be locked to a 5GHz frequency. This interferred with the bluetooth connection and stopped it connecting to my computer, or in some instances, the mouse connected to my computer, but the cursor would not work. In my case my genuine Microsoft wireless mouse would not connect to my windows 10 bluetooth because my Virgin Wifi Hub 3.0 was transmitting a 2.4GHz frequency. I have discovered that Bluetooth signals can be interferred with Wifi signals. I, after many many many hours have 95% resolved it. Did the problems start after a Windows Update?.Post the driver version of your BT and WiFi adapter.Turn-off wifi and check if you get a better BT connection for your mouse.If anyone has a fix or suggestion, please comment. Is the Windows Bootcamp flawed and faulty? I appreciate I am trying to run a Windows operating system on a Mac.But surely the basics of wifi connection and bluetooth functions should be a given, or am I over looking something? I then remove it from the bluetooth profiles on my MacOS just incase the system is confused with the partition and that does not help in anyway and is still not recognised by windows. It connects to my MacOS without any issues. I can't even connect my genuine Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. After much research and digesting multiple sources of information I am confident I have tried everything, ranging from Broadcom tests, Network Adapter amendments, Bootcamp Windows Support download and repair. My Bluetooth on Windows is also problematic. Windows seems to run fine, but it won't connect to my Virgin 5GHZ wifi, even though after doing many tests to see if my Broadcom drivers support 5GHZ, which they do as my Mac supports them all.
